Boating

This is a boater's paradise, with no point on the Keys being further than 4 miles from water and our year-round mild air temperature. Launches and piers are abundant and docking fees are reasonable. Boating allows you the option of relaxing on the reefs, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or simply cruising the clear waters. There are also plenty of lovely birds, wildlife and plant life for you to observe.

Utilize our Guest Services to rent a boat for your stay, or bring your own! The Pelican is a boat accessible property with two (2) boat ramps and two (2) docks on the property. Trailer parking and docking are $10.00 per day. This is available for all boats generally up to 26 feet. All boats and trailers must be registered.

SAILING
With its warm waters and reef protection, the Florida Keys are often referred to by sailors as the "American Caribbean." Sailing experiences here can include cruising, racing, and charters for diving, fishing and more! There are several local sailing clubs, with facilities offering courses and certifications.
