We are pleased to have you as a guest encourage you to join us in the many activities we have available on the property. These amenities are designed for people of all ages, from young to young-at-heart.

WATER ADVENTURES

You owe it to yourself to explore our local waters while you visit! For your convenience we offer:

A paddleboat
Canoe
Kayaks
Backcountry and Offshore boat rentals and guides are available daily. Just inquire with Guest Services at the front desk when you arrive. For more information, see Guest Services.

BOAT LAUNCH
There is a boat ramp and two (2) docks on the property.Trailer parking and docking are $10.00 per day. This is available for all boats generally up to 26 feet. All boats and trailers must be registered. Learn more about Boating in the Keys!

KAYAKS/CANOE
These are available free of charge to enjoy the many aspects of the bay front marine and aquatic life. All we ask is that you sign out the paddles at the front desk. The Florida Marine Patrol requires that we maintain your identification on file and that you take life preservers. While an inconvenience, this is really for your own safety and enjoyment. Children under fifteen (15) must be accompanied by an adult on the watercraft.

FISHING
Try your luck in catching the "big one" or the "small one" off our fishing pier. The Florida Bay is known for many game fish including Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook and others.

You are not required to have a fishing license but there are specific size limits and preferably just catch and release. If you catch one large enough to eat, you can take it to Bayside Grill and they will cook it for you. Fish the Fabulous Florida Keys and experience angling at it's finest. Learn more here!

JACOB'S AQUATIC CENTER (SWIMMING POOL) & KEY LARGO COMMUNITY PARK
The Jacob's Aquatic Center is available for the fresh water lovers and is within walking distance from the property. There is a small family fee per day.The park also has Tennis courts, racquetball, volleyball, basketball courts, a soccer field, and running track. This is Key Largo's Family Park and is located less than mile north on the ocean side. Learn more about our Area Parks here!

LAND ADVENTURES
PRIVATE WATERFRONT
We hope you will take advantage of our bay front location. Our sandy beachfront is equipped with lawn chairs and tables for your enjoyment. The salt water is generally a pleasant temperature for year round swimming.

BARBECUE AREAS
We have two (2) charcoal pits available for our guests plus several picnic areas. Please use common sense in monitoring your fires as the Keys environment is very fragile.

WILDLIFE
Many of our guests enjoy spending time on the waterfront watching the residents going about their daily tasks. This may include a Dolphin, Manatee, Horseshoe crab or a Heron, Egret, or Pelican.

VENDING MACHINES
There are vending machines available in the building marked "Cantina" where you will find various refreshments available to make your stay enjoyable.

TOWN CENTER
The Pelican is conveniently located in the Key Largo Town Center. You can follow the beachfront north to the famous Snooks Bar & Restaurant for Happy Hour and the wonderful Florida Key's sunsets.

Use of Pelican amenities and facilities is solely at your own risk. No lifeguard will be on duty. Children under the age of fifteen (15) are not permitted on any Motel watercraft without an adult. Life jackets are available in the office. Hours and rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Motel. Any person violating any of these rules may be denied use of the facilities.

ADDITIONAL GUEST SERVICES

COMPLIMENTARY CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
Available from approximately 7:30 am - 9:30 am, seven days a week on the front desk patio. Breakfast includes: coffee, juice, fruit and some pastries. Join us!

DVD/VCR MOVIE RENTALS
Movies are available for a nominal fee of $3.00 per night. Check our selection available in the front office. The Blockbuster Video store is located within a short walk from the cottages and can offer you new releases, DVDs and games for your enjoyment as well.
